Worcestershire County Cricket Club represents the historic county of Worcestershire and is one of eighteen first-class counties in English and Welsh domestic cricket. A golden era in the 1960s to 1980s brought stars such as Tom Graveney, Basil D'Oliveira and Norman Gifford, while later generations saw Ian Botham and Graeme Hick, whose 405 not out remains a landmark innings, wear the Worcestershire colours. Moeen Ali later emerged through the club's ranks to become an England international.
