    About our WADA news

Latest news on WADA, the World Anti-Doping Agency. It is a non-profit and independent organization whose sole purpose is to promote, coordinate, and monitor the fight against doping in sport in all its forms.

WADA was created in 1999 and is headquartered in Montreal, Canada. It is composed of two distinct entities: the Foundation Board and the Executive Committee.

The Foundation Board is responsible for WADA's overall strategy and governance, while the Executive Committee is responsible for its day-to-day operations.

WADA's work is overseen by an independent body, the World Anti-Doping Code Compliance Review Committee (CRC), which is responsible for ensuring that WADA complies with the World Anti-Doping Code.

WADA is funded equally by the Olympic Movement and governments of the world.
