Latest news on Liz Truss, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom between September and October 2022, and MP for South West Norfolk since 2010. Before winning the 2022 Tory Leadership race and becoming Prime Minister, she was the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs from 2021. She has also been Minister for Women and Equalities since 2019. As a member of the Conservative Party, Truss has served in various cabinet positions under the premierships of David Cameron, Theresa May and Boris Johnson.

Liz Truss was one of the final two candidates in the 2022 Conservative Party leadership election and was announced as winner on 5 September. She resigned as PM in October 2022 and was succeeded in the role by Rishi Sunak.
