    He joined Arsenal in a record-breaking £105m deal, after the Gunners agreed a fee with West Ham and received permission to conduct a medical with the player. Declan Rice led West Ham to the Europa Conference League title earlier in June 2023, their first major trophy in 43 years. He scored 15 goals in 245 games for West Ham, having made his debut in the 2016-17 season.
