Founded in 1908, Feyenoord Rotterdam are one of the most successful clubs in the Netherlands. Based in the city of Rotterdam, the club rose to prominence in Dutch football in the 1920s, winning their first Eredivisie title in 1924. Feyenoord’s home stadium, De Kuip, opened in 1937 and has since become one of the most iconic football venues in the country. The club’s red and white kit, passionate fanbase, and fierce rivalry with Ajax, locally known as De Klassieker, are central to Dutch football culture.

The club made history in 1970 by becoming the first Dutch team to win the European Cup after defeating Celtic 2-1 in the final. They also claimed the Intercontinental Cup that same year, further establishing their reputation as a European giant. Feyenoord has won multiple domestic titles, including over 15 Eredivisie championships, and added to their European success with a UEFA Cup victory in 2002.
