    Formed in 1977 by mechanic Frank Williams, Williams Racing is the most successful and longest running independent team to compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

    With over 110 Grand Prix victories to their name, the team has enjoyed the success of 9 Constructors’ and 7 Drivers’ Championships to date, also housing some of the biggest names in the history of the sport at the same time.

    Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve all won titles under the leadership of Williams during the team's glory days of the 1990’s. Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz are the team’s current full-time drivers.
