About our Arizona Diamondbacks news

Latest news on the Arizona Diamondbacks, a professional baseball team based in Phoenix, Arizona, and part of the National League’s West Division. Established in 1998, the Diamondbacks are one of the newest teams in the MLB and were formed as an expansion team alongside the Tampa Bay Rays.
Following their formation the Diamondbacks achieved relatively quick success, winning their first World Series title in just their fourth season. In the Championship series the D-backs came up against the New York Yankees, a side who were attempting to win their fourth consecutive title. The Diamondbacks eventually triumphed 4-3, winning their maiden title. The team’s colours are sedona red, sand, teal, black and white.
The Diamondbacks play their home games at Chase Field, a ballpark they’ve called home since their formation in 1998.
