    About our Seattle Mariners News

Latest news on the Seattle Mariners, a professional baseball team based in Seattle, Washington. Established in 1977 the Mariners were an expansion team that joined the MLB alongside the Toronto Blue Jays. Nicknamed the M’s the Seattle Mariners are part of the American League’s West Division.

The Mariners have won the West Division on three occasions in 1995, 1997 and 2001, but as of 2023 they are the only MLB side to have never reached the World Series. The team's colours are navy blue, silver, northwest green, yellow, and cream.

Since 1999 the M’s play their home games at T-Mobile Park, a stadium located in the Seattle neighbourhood of SoDo. Before moving to their current stadium the Mariners would play their home games at the Kingdome which was demolished in the year 2000.
