About our Boston Bruins news

Latest news on the Boston Bruins, a professional ice hockey team based in Massachusetts who compete in the Atlantic Division of the NHL's Eastern Conference.

Founded in 1924, the Bruins are one of the original six NHL teams alongside the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs. Their home arena is the TD Garden which they share with the Boston Celtics of the NBA.

They have won the Stanley Cup six times over the course of their franchise history, with their most recent feat coming in the 2010/11 season when they beat the Vancouver Canucks over seven games.

The Bruins also have minor league affiliations with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Maine Mariners of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
