    Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, commonly known as Dunfermline AFC, is a Scottish football club founded in 1885 in Dunfermline, Fife. Nicknamed 'The Pars' has a storied history, particularly in the mid-20th century when they enjoyed significant success.

    The club's golden era came in the 1960s under manager Jock Stein, who led Dunfermline to their first major trophy, the Scottish Cup, in 1961. They won the Scottish Cup again in 1968 and also had strong showings in European competitions, including a run to the semi-finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1969.

    Throughout its history, Dunfermline AFC has experienced the highs and lows of Scottish football, including multiple promotions and relegations. The club is known for its passionate fan base and its role in developing local talent. Thy plays their home games at East End Park, a venue with a rich history that has been the club's home since 1920.
