About our Shrewsbury Town news

Latest news on Shrewsbury Town, a professional English football club which was founded in 1886 and is based in Shropshire. Also known as 'The Shrews', the club have spent the majority of their history playing in the top four divisions of English football. However, despite the long period of being amongst the countries top 100 teams, Shrewsbury have never been able to reach the first division.

New Meadow has been the home stadium of Shrewsbury Town since 2007 after it was built to replace the old stadium of Gay Meadow. Since their founding the side normally play in the colour blue alongside either white or amber.
