About our Motor Neurone Disease news

Latest news on Motor Neurone Disease (MND), a rare condition that affects the brain and nerves, causing progressive weakness that worsens over time. While there is no cure for MND, treatments are available to help reduce its impact on daily life. The condition mainly affects people in their 60s and 70s and is caused by a problem with motor neurones, cells in the brain and nerves that gradually stop working over time. The cause of this degeneration is currently unknown.
