About our Mick Mars news
Latest news on Mick Mars, the stage name of Robert Alan Deal, an American musician who is the co-founder and lead guitarist of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. He was born on 4 May 1951, in Terre Haute, Indiana, and moved to California when he was young. He started playing guitar in various bands in the 1970s, but none of them achieved success. He changed his name to Mick Mars and placed an ad in a newspaper looking for a band in 1980. He was contacted by Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee, who were forming a new band that would become Mötley Crüe. Mars has been with the band ever since, and is known for his aggressive, melodic solos and bluesy riffs. He suffers from a chronic disease called ankylosing spondylitis, which causes inflammation and fusion of the spine. He announced that he could no longer tour with the band due to his condition, but would still participate in other projects. However, he recently filed a lawsuit against the band, claiming that they fired him and cut him out of profits.
