Latest news on Michael Flatley, an Irish-American dancer, choreographer, and musician. He is best known for his performances in the shows 'Riverdance' and 'Lord of the Dance', that first appeared during the 1994 Eurovision interval in Dublin. He had choreographed the show and its success at Eurovision saw it extended into a full-length show which opened at Dublin's Point Theatre the following year. He has also released several solo albums and authored a bestselling autobiography. In 2023 it was announced that he underwent surgery for an aggressive form of cancer. Michael had previously been diagnosed with facial skin cancer in 2003.
